On September 29, an event dedicated to the Day of the Elderly was held at the Mogotex enterprise

JSC "Mogotex" is one of the leading enterprises in the textile industry, which is deservedly proud of its history and honors its veterans.

Today we celebrated the day of the elderly here. With scope and zest. We conducted excursions for former employees, showed how fabric is born and awarded awards to the best workers of the enterprise.

“We have one of the best collective bargaining agreements in the country.” Not without pride, Lyubov Borisova, the chairman of the primary trade union organization, greets us at the door.

Enterprise veterans play an important role in preserving and passing on experience and traditions. People who devoted years of their lives to working at Mogotex, their stories are carefully preserved at the enterprise.

“The Mogotex trade union actively supports its members, providing them with social benefits, organizing events and meetings. Veterans, and there are 1,400 of them in the primary workforce, are an integral part of the team and help maintain the spirit of solidarity and family atmosphere at the enterprise. February 23, March 8, light industry workers' day, elderly people's day. We not only organize special events for them. We will definitely support you financially. This is enshrined in our collective agreement,” says the enterprise’s trade union leader.

This year Mogotex celebrates its 50th anniversary. The anniversary will be in December. And today there is a big rehearsal. The cultural center is being restored inside and out. A large cultural center, where the children of workers study in various clubs, has new stage decorations, modern lighting equipment, and sound. And this is another incentive to work here. The company pays great attention to leisure and recreation.

Today, in the foyer of the cultural center, former employees - decorators and artists - exhibited their creative works. “After working at Mogotex, I still had the desire to create,” says Nina Borodich. “We paint pictures, we create toys.”

The Mogilev enterprise has come a long way in development and has become one of the largest textile mills not only in the country. Today the workshops are fully loaded with orders. Moreover, branches in Kobrin and Polotsk also help.

Over the years of its operation, Mogotex has strengthened its reputation as a reliable and innovative manufacturer of textile products.

2 million meters of fabric are created here per month (already 2.3 billion in 50 years). Despite the automation of processes, there are also professions that are passed on only through mentoring. For example, not a single university in the country trains dyers or machine operators. And therefore, the experience of veterans at Mogotex is highly valued. Young specialists - 42 of them came this year; they spend 2-3 months gaining knowledge, passing an exam and only then receiving a qualification.

JSC Mogotex continues to develop and prosper. Its unique textile products are popular both in the domestic and international markets. Thanks to constant work on quality and innovation, Mogotex successfully competes and remains one of the leaders in the industry.
