Employees of JSC "Mogotex" visited the site of mass extermination of civilians during the Great Patriotic War
A visit to the crime scene in the Kazimirowski forest was organized, where specialists from the 52nd search battalion are currently conducting excavations. At present, 13 places of cruel treatment of civilians have been found.
"During the Great Patriotic War, up to 7,000 Soviet citizens were killed in this territory. The destruction of citizens was carried out by shooting, as well as using a gas chamber vehicle." The bodies were burned in ovens specially adapted for this purpose, which were later destroyed by the Nazis, and on large wooden towers, where the bodies were laid in tiers, doused with resin and set on fire. The tower with the corpses burned for several days and, as the villagers recalled, the burning was accompanied by a strong unpleasant smell," said Ekaterina Varonchuk, assistant prosecutor of the city of Mogilev.
