JSC Mogotex produced a flag for the procession dedicated to the Day of State Symbols of the Republic of Belarus

The state flag, designed and manufactured in Mogilev at JSC Mogotex, was carried through the streets of Minsk.

• May 11 became a special day for residents and guests of the capital. The central street of Minsk — Pobediteley Avenue — became the venue for a unique event dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the State Flag, State Emblem and National Anthem of the Republic of Belarus.
• For the first time in the history of Belarus, a huge piece of the State Flag, 500 meters long and 9 meters wide, was carried.
• This large-scale project was organized by the Republican public association “Belaya Rus” and the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus.
• The flag, designed and manufactured in Mogilev at Mogotex, weighs over 400 kilograms. It took about 700 people to carry such an impressive piece of cloth with dignity. As noted by the Deputy Chairman of the ROO "Belaya Rus" Andrey Basak, the flag has a significant sail, which makes it especially difficult to carry in windy weather. Therefore, physically fit men and women who wish to take part in this historical event are involved in carrying it.
• Among the participants of the procession were also employees of JSC "Mogotex". This honor was bestowed upon Prokhorenko Elena Anatolyevna, head of the laboratory, and Sokolovskaya Natalya Ivanovna, leading fashion designer - constructor of the experimental laboratory of the sewing factory.
