City competition of sanitary squads: checking readiness to save lives

Every year, our city becomes an arena for an important and spectacular event - the annual city competition of sanitary teams. This is not just a competition, but a test of strength, where the skills necessary to save lives in the most difficult conditions are honed.

What is checked in this competition?

The main thing is the coherence and clarity of the team's actions. The sanitary team is a single organism, where everyone knows their role and acts as a whole. The speed and efficiency of assistance depends on how well the participants understand each other and know how to work in a team.

The ability to act in stressful and unforeseen situations is no less important. Various scenarios are simulated at the competitions, as close as possible to real emergency situations. Participants must keep their cool, quickly assess the situation and make the right decisions under pressure.

And, of course, the ability to make the right decisions is the cornerstone of the work of the sanitary team. Their future fate depends on a timely and competent diagnosis, the choice of the right methods of assistance and transportation of the victims. 

Why is it so important?

As the organizers emphasize, the preparation of medical teams to work in areas of damage is an investment in the safety of each of us. In case of emergency situations, be it man-made disasters, natural disasters or other incidents, these teams will be the first to come to the rescue.

Their professionalism and readiness make it possible to avoid losses, minimize the severity of the consequences and, most importantly, provide timely, qualified medical assistance in the shortest possible time. This means that the victims will receive the necessary treatment and care even before the arrival of the ambulance, which significantly increases the chances of a full recovery.
